FOOD PANTRY COLLECTION:  Donations are accepted each Sunday.  With your help we can make a difference.

CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES NEED: Volunteers are assembling school kits for needy 4TH graders.  The following donation items are needed: glue sticks, Fiskars scissors, packages of wide ruled paper, folders with pockets (must be in solid colors like blue, red, yellow, green, and purple), boxes of 24 crayons, 10 packs of #2 pencils, rulers with centimeters, spiral notebooks, packs of fine tip dry erase markers, school box, packages of Post-It notes, and packages of colored pencils.

STAFFING CHANGES:  Following a search we have found a new office administrator for the parish.  Her name is Alison Crow.  Alison comes to us with high recommendations, and has been an employee of Masterworks Chorale.  She will continue to work for Masterworks part-time.  Alison’s training begins on Tuesday, August 5.  She will have a 2 week overlap with Derek Parker, our Interim Office Administrator.  During the training period Derek will phase out his duties as Alison phases into her duties.  Derek’s last day as Interim Office Administrator will be Wednesday, August 20.  Be sure to welcome Alison to the parish, and to thank Derek for his service during this transitional period.

STAFF AWAY:  Derek Parker, our Interim Office Administrator, will be away on Monday, Aug. 11TH to attend a friend’s ordination in Toledo, OH.  Alison Crow or Patsy Butler will staff the office.

WELCOME BILL FRENCH: We are pleased to welcome Bill French as the newest member of Grace Church.  Bill is transferring his membership from St. Andrew’s Church in Toledo.  He now makes his home in Dunkirk.

FREE YOGA OPEN HOUSE:  On Sunday, August 24TH, Sarah Lytle will offer a free yoga lesson at 9:15 am and 12:15 pm.  Come and learn what yoga is all about.
